In development — register your school’s interest

An AITS program in development, with planned instruction by Kilroy’s Workshop.

Practical training, feedback on actual lessons, and coaching as instructors put new approaches to work.

The proposed six-week school pilot

  1. Start with your school. An initial assessment of your teaching needs.
  2. Learn together. Three live sessions focused on clear instruction and learner confidence.
  3. Improve a real lesson. One revised lesson per instructor, with feedback.
  4. Put it into practice. Coaching with a defined scope, followed by an implementation review about 30 days later.

These are proposed deliverables, not an open enrollment offer. Dates, participation details, and coaching scope are still being developed.

Support the learner. Keep the standards.

Work on clear demonstrations, manageable steps, accessible materials, respectful feedback, and individual goals. Address attention, organization, reading, numeracy, communication, sensory, and physical access needs without diagnostic stereotypes.

Essential safety and technical requirements remain. Qualified specialists and learners need to help shape and review the curriculum alongside practical trade educators.

Clear roles, shared educational goals

Under the proposed model, AITS would oversee the program, its educational goals, evaluation, and school participation. Kilroy’s Workshop would provide contracted instruction and coaching as a separate delivery organization.

Standalone instructor courses, continuing school support, and on-site workshops are possible later offerings, not a current course catalog.
